Hazbin Hotel’s pilot was uploaded on October 28th, 2019, immediately garnering critical acclaim from 24 million plus viewers. A spinoff of the show set in the same universe, Helluva Boss, also had it’s pilot uploaded on the 26th of November, to similar reception. Vivienne Medrano has confirmed that Hazbin Hotel will be developed as a complete season, with possibilities of funding still being worked on.

An interview where SebastiAn talks about his return can be found here.

Team Fortress 2’s last major update was on October 20th, 2017, with the release of the Jungle Inferno update. Since then, various minor updates containing community-created cosmetics and maps have been released, however these are also very sparse, as only 3 of these are released each year. This long gap been criticised by players as Valve ignoring the development and community of the game, due to their other titles, CS:GO and DOTA 2, receiving more frequent updates than TF2.

Club Penguin shut down on March 30th, 2017 after nearly 12 years of operation. The Flash MMO was extremely popular amongst many people during it's peak in the late ‘00s, and was one of the first Flash games to gain popularity with children. However, the rising trend of mobile gaming had caused desktop games like Club Penguin to fall out of popularity. As a result, it was announced on November 17, 2016 that Club Penguin would be succeeded with Club Penguin Island, a mobile only 3D MMO. On January 30, 2017, the developers announced that the Club Penguin servers would be shut down on the same day that Club Penguin Island launched. News of this went viral, and the final hours of Club Penguin brought along popularity that had not been seen for years. Many people returned to Club Penguin to relive their nostalgic past for the final time, but some people saw a side of Club Penguin that had never been seen before: the banned. This sort of resulted in Ban Speedruns, where players would speedrun to register on the website and get banned as fast as possible. As the original Club Penguin closed, Club Penguin Island did launch to overwhelming negativity, with the primary reason being major paywalling that had restricted most features of the game. Although the game would be periodically updated to make the game more tolerable for people who couldn't pay, as well as these moments happening, Club Penguin Island ended up shutting down on December 20th, 2018, ending Club Penguin as a franchise. The original game still lives on in Club Penguin Private Servers (CPPS), which also exploded in popularity in the original’s last moments.

Yandere Simulator began as a proof-of-concept on 4chan’s /v/ board, where the first thread discussing the idea was created by an anonymous user on April 1st, 2014. On the 4th of the month, the individual known as YandereDev began development on a game based off this idea, creating a dev blog and a YouTube channel to showcase the first prototype. The popularity of the game would pick up around 2015, when YouTube personalities uploaded gameplay videos that introduced millions of people to the game. YandereDev has continued to put out promises and ideas over time, but actual implementation has mostly been dormant, resulting in the game’s extensive development period. This, along with drama regarding the developer’s public and private image, has been criticised by many fans to the point where it has reached memetic status (that Twitter account is actually one of the inspirations for this website). A video detailing these critiques can be found here.

The last doomsday prediction was from Ronald Weinland in 2018, who predicted that the world would end on June 9th, 2019. He had previously predicted that the world would end in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

It's been over 1.657 trillion days since the Earth was created.
